* Adding a Poem or Story:

Go to ADD A POEM, click on *Start a Discussion*, top left of page -

*  Welcome to Forum:

*  Forum is a Web site program designed for facilitating discussions between visitors. Using Forum,
   visitors can add discussions to categories and post comments in discussion threads.

   The Forum online Help system includes an overview of Forum features and explains how to complete
   tasks in the application. For more information about the online Help system,
   see Using the Forum    Online Help System.


*  Using the Forum Online Help System:

   The Forum online Help system includes feature overviews and instructions that guide you through
   completing specific tasks. You can navigate to a specific procedure using the Contents tab, or you
   can use the Search tab to locate a specific word or phrase. Once you locate the procedure you want to
    view, click the name of the topic to open it in the right pane. You can click Print to print a topic.

*  About Categories:

   From the Categories tab, you can view a list of categories, click on a category name to access a list of
   discussions under that category, and, if you are a member, start a new discussion. When you start a
   new discussion, select a category to associate with it, enter a name or title for the discussion, and
   then leave the first comment. For more information, see Creating Discussion Threads.

*  Viewing Categories:

If you want to view the categories in a public forum, you can do so without logging in. However, if the forum is private, you must log in before you can view categories or any other content within the forum.

   To View a List of Categories

  1. If the forum is private, log in to the forum with your user name and password.
  2. Click the Categories tab. A list of all categories displays.

   To View the Discussions in a Category

  1. Click the category name. A list of discussions associated with the selected Category display.
  2. Click the discussion title to view the discussion thread.

*  About Discussions:

   From the Discussions tab, you can view a list of discussion threads, start a new discussion, and
   leave comments. If you have administrator access, you can also lock, unlock, or delete discussion
   threads. When you add a discussion, you can select the category it belongs to, enter the discussion
   name, and leave the first comment for the discussion. For more information,
   see Creating Discussions.

*  Adding Comments:

   You must be a forum member in order to add a comment to a discussion. Comments can be added
    to any active discussion that has not been locked by the forum administrator. Only the administrator 
   can lock a discussion or add comments to discussions that are locked.

   To Add a Comment to a Discussion

  1. Log in to the forum with your user name and password.
  2. Click the Discussions tab.
  3. Click the title of the discussion you want to add a comment to.
  4. In the Add comment text field, enter your comment.
  5. Click Save.

*  Viewing Discussion Threads:

*  If you want to view the discussion threads in a public forum, you can do so without logging in.
   However, if the forum is private, you must log in before you can view discussions or any other content
   within the forum. If you are a member, you can also add comments to discussion threads. For more
   information on adding comments, see Adding Comments.

   To View a Discussion Thread

  1. If the forum is private, log in to the forum with your user name and password.
  2. Click the Discussions tab.
  3. Click the title of the discussion you want to view.

*  Creating Discussions:

   You must be a member in order to start a new discussion. If you are not a member, you can view the
   discussion threads of a public forum without logging in. However, if the forum is private, you must log
   in before you can view discussions or any other content within the forum. If you are a member, you
   can also add comments to other discussion threads. For more information on adding comments,
   see Adding Comments.

   To Create a Discussion Thread

  1. Log in to the forum with your user name and password.
  2. Click either the Discussions or Categories tab.
  3. Click Start a new discussion.
    The New Discussion page displays.
  4. From the Category drop-down list, select the category you want to associate with your new discussion.
  5. In the Discussion name field, enter a name or title for your discussion.
  6. In the Comments field, enter the first comment for your discussion thread.
  7. Click Save.

*  Deleting Discussion Threads:

   Only the forum administrator can delete discussion threads. If you log in and you do not see the
   options to Delete, Lock, or Unlock, then you are not logged in to your forum as the administrator.
    Please check your user name and password and try again.

   Once a discussion thread is deleted it is no longer viewable in your forum and it cannot be restored. If
    you want the discussion to remain viewable, but no longer want members to be able to add
   comments, consider locking the discussion instead of deleting it. For information on locking a
   discussion, see Locking and Unlocking Discussions.

   To Delete a Discussion Thread

  1. Log in to your forum using the Administrator user name and password created when you set up your forum in WebSite Tonight.
  2. Click the Discussions tab.
  3. Click Delete next to the discussion that you want to delete.

*  Locking and Unlocking Discussions:

   You can lock or unlock discussions at any time. If you log in and you do not see the options to Delete,
    Lock, or Unlock, then you are not logged in to your forum as the administrator. Please check your
   user name and password and try again.

   To Lock or Unlock a Discussion

  1. Log in to your forum using the Administrator user name and password created when you set up your forum in WebSite Tonight.
  2. Click the Discussions tab.
  3. Click Lock or Unlock next to the discussion that you want to lock or unlock.

   Once you have locked a discussion, members can no longer add comments to the discussion
   thread. However, they can still view the discussion.

*  About Settings:

   You can set options for your account, such as your name and email address. You can also change
    your password. For more information about entering or updating your personal information,
   see Setting Account Options.

*  Setting Account Info:

   You can update your name and contact email address in your account information, if necessary.

    To Set Your Account Info

  1. Log in to the forum with your user name and password.
  2. Click the Settings tab.
  3. Click Account Info.
  4. If necessary, in the First name or Last name fields, edit your first and last name.
  5. In the Email address field, edit your email address, if necessary.
  6. Click Save.

*  Changing Your User Name and Password:

   You can change your password at any time. In addition, if the feature is enabled by the forum
   administrator, you can also change your user name.

    To Change Your User Name and Password

  1. Log in to the forum with your user name and password.
  2. Click the Settings tab.
  3. Click Change Password.
  4. If the User name field is enabled, you can change your user name.
  5. In the Password and Confirm Password fields, enter and confirm your new password.
  6. Click Save.

*  Adding a Signature to your Profile:

   You can add a text signature to your user profile to display with your username. When you add a post
   or comment to the forum, your text signature displays with your user name, identifying you as the
   author of the post or comment. You can also add an icon or avatar to your signature.

    To Add a Signature to your Forum Posts

  1. Log in to the forum with your user name and password.
  2. Go to the Settings tab.
  3. In the Account Options section, click Signature and Icon.
  4. Enter or paste the text for your signature into the Enter Signature text area.
  5. Click Save.

*  Adding an Icon (Avatar) to your Profile:

   You can add an image to your user profile to use as an icon or avatar with your username. When you
    add a post or comment to the forum, the icon displays with your user name, identifying you as the
   author of the post or comment. You can also add a signature to your profile.

    To Add an Icon (Avatar) to your Profile

  1. Log in to the forum with your user name and password.
  2. Go to the Settings tab.
  3. In the Account Options section, click Signature and Icon.
  4. Click Browse.
  5. Locate and open the image file that you want to use for your icon.
  6. Note:.JPG, .GIF, and .PNG file types are supported.

  7. Select Display my icon with my posts.
  8. Click Save.

* How do I let friends know I have written a new
